I bought this a couple of months ago. Very impressed, Very good buy. I have bought myself a 750 gb hdd sata and backed up all my son\'s baby photos family photos, various home videos of family etc. and now the hdd is in the safe. The HDD does get quite a bit hot, but that also depends how long you are using the hdd for.
