Bought a set last year, great to use on our smallholding.
Battery life more than adequate for my requirements & voice clarity excellent.
Channel security options are a good feature once you decode the manual for setup.
Have subsequently bought a second set on behalf of my neighbour - so far he is totally happy with the products.
Have not tested the 20km's line of sight spec, cannot give verdict on this feature.

I bought this two radio set for use on my small holding to counter cell phone use & costs thereof. Max range of use is less than 1km & signal strengths are excellent.

Multi-channel & coding enables 99% privacy.

Stop watch function also very useful for timing pumping sessions from our borehole.

Battery life seems to be about one week between charging, considering that talk time is about 30 min per day & on-time is about 3 hours per day. (without FM radio playing)

Would recommend this as a way to cut cell phone use where one knows short range use is all you need.

Only fault is that the radios are so light that if you do not ensure proper seating in charging cradle, radio will not charge.
Otherwise totally happy.
